Season says hi!

This is Season, she's my rock and my baby! But when I have to leave them behind, it’s not easy—especially for my aging German Shepherd. Her legs are failing, her temperament’s changing, and caring for her takes more than love—it takes experience, strength, and patience. That kind of care is hard to find and even harder to afford.

Pet care today is expensive, boarding fees add up fast, and experienced in-home sitters charge a premium. Just a weekend away can cost hundreds of dollars—and still leave me worried while I’m gone.

That’s when I realized, I’m not the only one.

Cody - A New Generation Pet App

In the U.S., over 87 million households have pets. Most are quietly struggling with the same equation: how to balance deep love with rising costs and limited care options. Platforms like Rover and traditional kennels can cost up to $6,000 a year. And they don’t always meet the emotional and medical needs of aging or sensitive pets.

This is a growing problem—and a massive opportunity to rethink how we care for the animals we consider family.

That’s why we created Cody — a community-powered app that lets pet parents exchange sitting and playdates with people they trust. Think of it as a pet care network, just a swipe away. On Cody, users create profiles, sync calendars, match with nearby pet parents, and review each other — creating a transparent, reliable care loop.
